Mission: The Manhattanville Student Government Association (SGA) serves as the voice of the student body and the liaison between administration and students. We work to achieve the college’s mission, promote campus life, further the interests of the student body, and encourage students to develop leadership qualities. SGA also serves as a platform for addressing controversial issues directly affecting the student body while providing adequate channels of expression.

Welcome to the official website for the 2008-2009 Manhattanville Student Government Association! Thank you for visiting, I am glad you stopped by. SGA is a student run organization that has 15 elected representatives; each is elected by the student body in the spring according to the SGA Constitution. A copy of the approved SGA Constitution can be found on this website as well as other documents and resources we think you will find interesting and useful.

I hope in browsing the website you become more aware of SGA and its operations. The site also contains contact and biographical information so that you can get to know your elected officials. Feel free to reach out to us. We are here to listen and help!

This is my second term as SGA President, from the day I took office I have been dedicated to serving Manhattanville and its students to the best of my ability. With the dedication of the other SGA leaders we have consistently helped shape student life at Manhattanville. SGA has a current focus on increasing communication among the student body, faculty, staff and administration In addition increasing communication about SGA; we also hope our enhanced website encourages students to interact with us. Therefore if you have a topic or issue that you would like to discuss with us, or an announcement you feel should be made at a Student Government meeting, please send us an email through our suggestion box. And remember SGA holds regular weekly meetings that are open to the public. Please feel free to attend.

Did you know that SGA also recognizes and funds over 30 student run club on campus? I hope you take the opportunity to get involved in a student group that matches your interests. By joining clubs you will meet new people and have the opportunity to share your talents and passions with others.
