Amethyst Initiative at Manhattanville

Richard Berman has joined a group of 100 presidents who will be participating in the Amethyst Initiative that will have a public policy debate on lowering the drinking age. "This is a societal issue not just one that effects colleges. I am not saying that we should lower the drinking age. I want to hear all the facts. We believe a college has to be involved in the community. That is why I feel it is important to have an open debate and what better environment to engage in than Manhattanville College.” Stated Richard Berman, president of Manhattanville College.
