The Master of Finance degree is a 36-credit program designed for working professionals who seek a career in finance or for experienced finance professionals who seek to enhance their knowledge of the field.  Graduates of the program will be equipped for a variety of career opportunities, including positions in multinational industrial corporations and financial institutions.  The Finance program is open for enrollment for the Spring 2009 semester. 

The curriculum combines four elective courses with eight core courses to provide a broad management view of the world of finance and to address trends in the globally competitive financial marketplace. The program provides students a strong foundation in the principles and analytical techniques of finance upon which they will explore practical business applications.

To be accepted, applicants must have two years of full-time work experience or appropriate undergraduate internships.  Applicants must satisfy prerequisite requirements in accounting, statistics and economics to be admitted to the program.

Scheduling

Courses are offered during three terms each year. 

  • Fall:  September – December
  • Spring:  January – April
  • Summer:  May – July
